Shahidah Foster is the creator of Black Girls Learn Languages, a multi-platform digital community for Black women who are passionate about languages which currently serves around 10,000 members across multiple social media platforms. She is also co-organizer of the Sisters Only Language Summit, the first and only language summit for Black women in the language community. Her media appearances includes being featured in Travel Noire, Bronze Magazine, Bauce Magazine and mentioned in Black Enterprise. In addition to managing the platform, she has also served as a two-time speaker at the annual Women in Language conference and has appeared on a number of language podcasts including The Fluent Show and Fluent in 3 Months.
